Inspired by a little bowling video…Five Moore Minutes is a website with videos dedicated to empowering schools and classrooms to support ALL Learners! Created by Shelley Moore, this website is designed with teachers in mind. As educators, we don’t always have a lot of time, so this website and video series offers resources, research, professional development activities and inspiration in 5 minute chunks!

How often will content be released?

Between October through June, a new video episode will be released every month, and each episode will connect with one or more guiding questions of inclusion:

Following each video episode, supplementary content will be released following this schedule:

Week 1 – Video Release

Week 2 – Podcast: Interviews & Conversations

Week 3 – Video Strategy

Week 4 – Podcast: Interviews & Conversations

How can I use the website and video episodes to support professional development?

Along with the videos, resources connected to each episode will support school and district staff to inquire into inclusive concepts and ideas through discussion questions and follow up activities. For those that want to go deeper, supporting  scripts, research & resources will also be linked.

It is a one stop pro d shop for today’s busy teachers!

Is this website useful for parents?

  2. HI Shelley, I am curious to know more about your PHD work. I teach adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a college setting. They are training for employment and spend from 1 – infinity years in our program (life long learning is what we do – just don’t tell the Min of Advanced Ed as it sure doesn’t match their funding model). I am continuously currious about inclusion in a college setting for my students. They have come from high school where inclusion might have been happening on some level, and they might be heavily included in community living, or more sheltered through a workshop type job… anyway, i think we can do better here at our college. I would love to hear your ideas specifically on your research topic.
    thanks, Liz

I need Shelley Moore merch! I was recently introduced to Shelley/Five Moore Minutes through a Universal Design for Learning training given by my school district. I am a Varying Exceptionalities teacher for 3rd, 6th, and 8th grade students at a K-8 public school in Tampa, FL, and the Special Education Advisor for our school for the Best Buddies Organization. I love her inclusive messages and just want to share them with the world! What’s better than a cool t-shirt?!?! I would love to know if she has merch for sale somewhere!

    Thank you!
